Pulborough Post now has a dedicated space for local employment opportunities, making it easier than ever for businesses to recruit locally and for residents to connect quickly and easily with vacancies.

A simple, community‑focused way for employers to post vacancies and for jobseekers to advertise their availability. The aim is to strengthen local recruitment, support small businesses, and help residents find work closer to home.

How Does It Work?

For employers: Local businesses, organisations, and sole traders can submit details of job vacancies, whether permanent, temporary, part‑time, or project‑based. Listings can include role descriptions, required skills, hours, pay ranges, and contact details and a link to further details.

For jobseekers: Residents looking for work can create short profiles outlining their experience, availability, and the type of roles they’re seeking. This includes everything from professional services to trades, hospitality, retail, care, and seasonal work. Information supplied should include your contact details.

For the community: The board encourages local hiring, reduces commuting pressures, and supports Pulborough’s economic resilience by keeping opportunities circulating within the parish.

How to take part

Employers and jobseekers can submit listings to jobs@pulboroughpost.co.uk. All posts are reviewed to ensure clarity, accuracy, and community suitability before publication.

Listings will appear on the Help Wanted / Seeking Work page which is updated regularly and promoted through Pulborough Post’s portal.

Please note: all jobs advertised must comply with UK government guidelines. Visit vacancy advertising - Search - GOV.UK
