West Sussex Minibus welcomes The Princess of Wales to Pulborough

Today was a truly special and unforgettable day for West Sussex Minibus, as we had the pleasure of welcoming The Princess of Wales, who joined us to collect our lovely members and take them to their weekly lunch club in Pulborough.

It was an unexpected and incredibly memorable surprise for everyone, and a wonderful opportunity for Her Royal Highness to learn first-hand how our service operates.

Our organisation enables residents to enjoy a variety of trips throughout the year, helping people stay socially connected, independent and active within their communities.

This year marks 50 years of West Sussex Minibus, making this visit even more special.

Above all, this milestone celebrates everyone who makes West Sussex Minibus what it is — our dedicated volunteers, our wonderful members who are at the heart of everything we do, and our valued supporters whose generosity and continued support help keep our services running.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past 50 years. Whether you volunteer, use our services, support us financially or champion what we do, you are all part of the West Sussex Minibus family.

A very special day — and a wonderful way to celebrate 50 years of keeping our community connected.
