GJ’s Showcase Brings New Local Talent to @The Riverside

Monthly GJ’s Showcase events are drawing rising musical talent to @The Riverside, Swan Corner, giving instrumentalists, vocalists and bands of all ages the chance to perform with professional support.

According to the event organisers, the showcases “give instrumentalists, vocalists and bands of all ages the chance to perform in front of an audience, supported on stage by seasoned professional musicians.”

Led by local music tutor John Limpus of GJ’s Guitars, the events help learners progress from one‑to‑one lessons into full live‑band performance. The format provides an authentic gig environment, building confidence and stagecraft skills.

Funds raised at the showcases are donated to leukaemia charities, adding a charitable purpose to each event.

@The Riverside’s relaxed vibe has helped broaden audiences and strengthen Pulborough’s growing live‑music culture.

New showcase dates are announced throughout the year via social media.
